Request for Bids Goods (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: Nigeria Name of Project: Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project Contract Title: Procurement and Installation of 10kva Solar Power for 100 Schools, 16KVA Solar 28 SSS and 4.5KVA Solar to 28 JSS Credit No. IDA - 67380 – NG Reference No.: NG-SOKOTO ADF-537199-GO-RFB Date of Issuance: 30th June, 2026 The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement and Installation of 10KVA Solar Power for 100 Schools, 16KVA Solar 28 SSS and 4.5KVA Solar to 28 JSS 1. “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.” 2. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Sokoto Sate Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project, Shehu Garba, Email: sokotoagile@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 0800 to 1600 hours at the address given below: 5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of N100,000.00. The method of payment will be Bank draft. The document will be sent by physical presence. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00noon June, 30th 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 30th June, 2026 at 12:00noon. 7.
